The window system heroal W 77 is the ideal solution for residential and commercial buildings where the requirements for thermal insulation are extremely high. Thanks to different insulation variants, the thermal insulation of the window profile can be individually adapted to achieve values set by architects and planners. With heroal W 77, windows meeting passive house standards can also be created.
To protect rooms from overheating, even if they have large glass surfaces, heroal offers the outside zip screen system heroal VS Z as the perfect solution for protection against the summer heat. With a face width of only 25 mm, the extremely slim guide rail sets new standards in the market. Thanks to its robust zip fastener technology, this system even withstands squalls of 145 km/h – also when elements up to 6 m wide and a surface of 18 m² are used for shading large areas.
The sun protection system heroal VS Z can be seamlessly integrated into window, door and curtain wall systems from heroal and other manufacturers. The extensive selection of more than 250 standard textiles provides for maximum freedom of design. In addition, the aluminium components of the sun protection can be individually coated with the highly weather resistant heroal hwr powder coating. This way, a perfect colour match can be achieved with the heroal window systems, which are also heroal hwr powder coated. heroal hwr powder coatings are available in RAL colours and, exclusive in the industry, in the colour shades of Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier. With the coating process heroal SD, even more impressive looks (e.g. wood, concrete, rust) can be created.
For maximum living comfort, windows of the system heroal W 77can also be designed as floor-to-ceiling French doors, which, with a maximum threshold height of 20 mm, meet the requirements of the German industry norm DIN 18040 for barrier-free construction. In combination with the drainage system heroal DS, the necessary protection against moisture is ensured, as any emerging surface water is reliably drained off at around 0.8 l/s, running off under a high-quality stainless steel cover.
With a small design depth of only 77 mm and a face width of 180 mm, the insulation variant heroal W 77 PH achieves a Uf value of 0.78 W/(m²K), and thus even meets the high requirements of the Dr. Feist Passive House Institute for passive house certification. Compared with other aluminium- compound systems with the same design depth, heroal W 77 PH is the window system with the lowest Uf value on the German market.
