    heroal textile screens are made of fabrics that are easy to clean with lukewarm water.

  • Are heroal textiles suited for inside and outside?

    The textiles for heroal sun protection systems have been designed for outside use. However, they are also perfectly suited for inside applications.

  • What does OF value mean?

    The openness factor (OF) is a percentage indicating how much light will transmit through a sun protection textile. The standard range of the openness factor is 0-14 %, whereas 0 % describes a complete blockout of light and 14 % an almost complete outward vision maintained.

    • 0 % - no outward vision
    • 4 – 5 % - good outward vision
    • 10 % - generous outward vision
    • 14 % - almost complete outward vision

  • Can sun protection fabrics be replaced?
