Compliance Management System

The compliance management system introduced by heroal ensures that responsible, ethical behavior and legal requirements are consistently adhered to in all areas of the company. Our clear and transparent guidelines form a binding code of conduct that governs all business activities, from integrity to competition rules. Employees are regularly informed about compliance issues through open and proactive communication. The heroal whistleblower system enables all employees to report possible violations confidentially. A specialized compliance team, consisting of a compliance officer and compliance committee, investigates and acts accordingly in the event of reports or suspected cases.

Our sustainability strategy covers the entire supply and value chain and is an integral part of our cooperation with suppliers and business partners. The heroal Supplier Code of Conduct ensures that social and ecological standards are bindingly adhered to. In order to act responsibly in a global environment, we rely on a structured and sustainable risk analysis. We carry out regular due diligence checks with the help of an established "Third Party Monitoring Tool" and standardized test procedures. We assess all existing and potential partners in terms of their compliance with ESG criteria - including human rights and environmental due diligence, corruption prevention and legal and economic risks. With the declaration of principles of our management and the heroal third party guideline, we are clearly committed to protecting human rights and the environment - and thus bear responsibility for fair and sustainable cooperation.
