In order to make an active contribution to climate protection and to meet projects with the highest sustainability requirements, heroal relies on CO2-reduced and recycled aluminium. The low carbon aluminium range from heroal offers individual solutions for fabricators, architects and planners. This allows emissions to be significantly reduced during the construction phase. All CO2 values and the proportion of recycled material are documented transparently and comprehensibly. In addition, all production steps along the entire value chain are completely transparent.

heroal Low Carbon Aluminium has a Global Warming Potential value of up to a minimum of 1.9 kg CO2 e/kg aluminium (LC-Al C1.9) per profile.

75 % recycling rate*

heroal Low Carbon Aluminium contains up to 75 % post-consumer material (LC-Al R75).

DEKRA certified

The heroal low carbon aluminium range is certified by DEKRA. Compliance with the carbon footprint and the recycling rate are regularly checked there.

  • Surface

    Thanks to a variety of coating technologies, aluminium products have a very durable and high-quality surface that is highly resistant to weathering and corrosion, even after decades of use. Aluminium surfaces are also virtually maintenance-free and particularly easy to care for.

  • Stability

    The high material stability enables unique aesthetics. Filigree profiles can also be used to create large construction widths for windows, façades or sliding doors, for example. At the same time, the material used and the weight of the aluminium profiles remain low.

  • Recycling

    As a member of A|U|F e.V., we support the environmentally friendly recycling of aluminium. We use recycled aluminium from old building elements for our products because, unlike materials such as plastic, it retains its quality with every recycling process. Aluminium is fully recyclable, so our heroal systems can be easily recycled and reused at the end of their life cycle. This conserves resources and helps to reduce CO2 emissions in the construction industry.
