The window system heroal W 72 CW – steel design offers a variant for storey-high window elements in an industrial look, resembling a steel curtain wall. Large openings can be created in a modern post-transom look. Through various profile variants, heroal W 72 CW – steel design system becomes an appealing alternative to classic steel curtain walls. Sash profiles are available with push rod fitting grooves (SBN) and plastic fitting grooves (KBN), which makes a flexible fabrication possible. It is possible to create windows with a high proportion of glass, thanks to the small face width of only 77 mm. The standard heroal W 72 CW system variant with a face width of 81 mm achieves a low U_f value of 1.9 W/m²K, and can be further enhanced or extended. System extensions are heroal W 72 CW (w/o PU foam – reduction in U value through the elimination of the profile sealing zone and the use of alternative insulating material) and heroal W 72 CW UD (Universal Design – French doors with a threshold height < 20 mm). heroal W 72 CW is also available with a façade look.
