The extruded surface-mounted box heroal Ready RS 37 RC 2 FMS has been certified up to resistance class RC 2 according to the German standard DIN 1627. The roller shutter slat, weighing 8.8 kg/m2, owes its extreme bending strength and stability to the heavy-duty two-component foam filling. Because of this, certified elements with a maximum width of 2,095 mm and a maximum height of 2,350 mm can be created.

The geometry of the roller shutter slats provides for an ideal winding behaviour, so that even very high elements require only small box sizes. heroal 2-layer thick coatings, which have even been certified for marine use, make sure that roll-formed aluminium parts, such as roller shutter or roller door slats, are extremely colourfast and weather resistant. For building shells that appear to be cast from the same mould, heroal 2-layer thick coatings and heroal hwr powder coatings for extruded elements are perfectly matched - for a perfect colour uniformity with heroal systems for windows, sliding doors, curtain walls and roofings. In addition to more than 500 RAL, DB and VEKA colours, the highly weather resistant heroal hwr powder coating is also available in the exclusive Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier shades. Different gloss levels and structures perfectly accentuate surfaces coated in RAL colours. With the innovative surface refinement heroal SD, the surfaces of extruded parts are given impressive wood, rust or concrete looks. Reflective metallic looks can be created with Eloxal coatings.
