Extruded roller shutter box with die cast panel caps
Whereas the panels with their robust thickness are made from a high-quality aluminium alloy, the panel caps are made from powder-coated die cast aluminium. Refined with the high-quality heroal surface coatings, the panels and panel caps can be combined to offer extremely durable GKSE box systems. They are perfectly suited for surface-mounted boxes, also for doors which can be equipped with standard roller shutter profiles. If required, the front panel can be removed completely, providing for a large inspection opening.

The heroal GKSE, made from recycled aluminium, stands out for its high material stability. It is extremely robust and durable thanks to the watertight inspection cover at the top, protecting the panel box against penetrating damp.
Flexibility
The abbreviation "GKSE" stands for closed box standard square. As the mounts for GKSE-panel caps are particularly sturdy, they are often used for larger curtains for roller shutters or small roller doors with a box size between 205 and 300 mm, thus providing for more installation options for surface-mounted boxes.

In addition to more than 500 RAL, DB and VEKA colours, it is also available in the exclusive Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® shades. Different gloss levels and structures perfectly accentuate surfaces coated in RAL colours. With the innovative surface refinement heroal SD, the surfaces of extruded parts are given impressive wood, rust or concrete looks. Reflective metallic looks can be created with Eloxal coatings.
