The heroal FMC cover system offers particularly good economy for soffit installations with a visible front panel, thanks to its combination of roll-formed and extruded panels.

Integrated solar motor

The integrated solar motor from Somfy or Kaiser Nienhaus enables roller shutters to be operated sustainably without a separate power supply.

Narrow-winding roller shutter slats

The heroal RS 37 SW and heroal RS 52 SW roller shutter slats impress with their tight winding and small barrel diameter – ideal for compact box sizes and space-saving system solutions. The optimised hook and pocket geometry ensures a secure slat connection, prevents individual slats from coming unhooked and guarantees maximum light-tightness when closed. The slats are available as system components or as ready-made curtains, enabling cost-effective planning and easy installation.

Ideal for heroal RS 37 SW front-mounted boxes

The heroal RS 37 SW roller shutter slat is ideally suited for use in front-mounted boxes, but can also be flexibly integrated into all other box systems. With a visible height of 36.9 mm, a nominal thickness of 7.5 mm and a weight of 3.0 kg/m², it is wind-resistant and meets the wind load requirements of resistance class 3 for element widths of up to 2,500 mm.

Ideal for add-on units heroal RS 52 SW

The heroal RS 52 SW roller shutter slat is mainly used in top-mounted boxes, but can also be integrated into all other box systems. With a visible height of 52.3 mm, a nominal thickness of 13.4 mm and a weight of 3.7 kg/m², it offers high wind resistance and meets the wind load requirements of resistance class 3 for element widths of up to 3,500 mm.

heroal end slats

The platform for angled end strips enables easy installation in both right- and left-hand roller applications in top-mounted and front-mounted boxes, and provides a flush box finish. The angle profiles can be combined with all Mini and Maxi end strips and attached using a clip-on system. Plastic gliders ensure smooth running in the guide rail. New additions to the range include a shorter angle profile (11 mm) for use on parapets, as well as additional right- and left roller variants of the Mini basic profile. An integrated slope with a drainage area prevents water build-up.

heroal DRP guide rail, tightness against driving rain

The heroal DRP platform offers versatile, tight guide rails against driving rain which, thanks to the integrated Norseal® sealing tape, are certified up to 600 Pa. They are compatible with the box ends of the heroal FMR, heroal FME, heroal FMB and heroal FMC insect screen systems. In addition to the standard version of the HTF-DRP guide rail, there are other versions with spacers to create a distance of 20 mm or 40 mm from the window. Furthermore, 10 mm spacer profiles are available, allowing for variable adjustment of the spacing. The heroal DRP range is complemented by a centre guide rail for integrated insect screen systems, as well as a two-part guide rail that eliminates the need for visible screws.

heroal FMC blind system

The heroal FMC combination box system combines roll-formed and extruded panels for economic front-mounted installation. Box sizes ranging from 137 to 180 mm can be achieved, as well as box shapes with 20°, 45° and 90° angles. An adapter profile ensures a harmonious appearance and allows existing heroal FME panels to be used. The front flange increases stability and is ideal for applications with a visible front panel.

Integrated solar drive

The integration of the Kaiser Nienhaus Easyline Solar (6 and 20 Nm) and Somfy RS 100 Solar iO (6, 10, 15 and 20 Nm) solar motors enables the sustainable operation of heroal roller shutter systems – without the need for an external power supply. There is a wide range of different roller shutter slat systems to choose from, with coverage widths between 37 and 52 mm. The control system uses radio signals and a remote control or a wall-mounted switch. Even with low levels of solar radiation, up to 100 operating cycles are possible. If required, the battery can be charged externally. Should the battery ever become completely discharged, it can also be recharged via an external interface.

Finished roller shutter curtains

To ensure maximum flexibility and time-saving production, heroal roller shutter slats are also available as pre-assembled roller shutter curtains – comprising the slat system and end strip. With the expansion of the roller shutter portfolio, the range of ready-made curtains has also been extended. The new, close-winding heroal RS 37 SW and heroal RS 52 SW roller shutter slats are also available as heroal ready-made curtains. The configuration options have been optimised – including through the integration of the new angled end-slats and accessories such as quick-connectors, steel strip mountings and end-slat accessories. The revised colour scheme across the Basic, Trend and Exclusive ranges offers a wide variety of design options: from readily available classics to modern accent colours and exclusive custom colours.
