RC 3-certified door solution for escape and rescue routes

The heroal D 72 RC 3 panic door offers certified security for single- and 2-sash escape and rescue routes in accordance with DIN EN 1125, combined with a high level of burglary resistance (RC 3). A wide range of combination options, such as zero-barrier thresholds or stop thresholds, various door hinges, and variants with side sections, fanlights and panel infills, ensure maximum flexibility within a single System. Thanks to optimised gap sizes (5/11 mm) and tested fitting variants, the door is ensured to remain restraint-free at all times.

The heroal D 72 RC 3 panic door has been tested in accordance with DIN EN 1627 (RC 3) – in single- or 2-sash versions.

Zero threshold

The optional integrated zero-threshold, compliant with DIN 18040-1 and -2, ensures barrier freedom.

Design

With over 500 RAL colour shades, DB and VEKA colours, as well as customised surfaces in a rust, concrete or wood-effect finish, the door system can be adapted to suit any design concept.

Components of the heroal panic door

A panic door is the result of the interaction between several components: the frame, the door casement, the fittings and the installation conditions. This is the only way to ensure that the door functions reliably in an emergency.

Zero-threshold / Stop threshold / Barrier freedom threshold solution

The heroal D 72 RC 3 Panik is fitted with a zero-threshold design, which allows barrier freedom. A drainage system (heroal DS) can be integrated as an option; this safely diverts any surface water, thereby preventing moisture damage inside the building. A choice of continuous or bolted-in threshold solutions is available.

Panic locks with a push bar

Newly tested lock types are available: the FUHR Type 10 and the BKS ADR lock – both featuring a panic bar in accordance with DIN EN 1125 for quick, intuitive opening in an emergency.

Efficient joining technology

Our specialised joining technology, featuring nail-fixed and compressible corner brackets, connector screws and cross-system construction, ensures safe and straightforward production.

Safety glass

The safety glass used meets RC 3 requirements and provides reliable protection against break-ins.

Certified security

The heroal D 72 RC 3 panic door has been tested in accordance with DIN EN 1627 (RC 3) and DIN EN 1125, and therefore meets all the requirements for single- and 2-sash escape and rescue route doors. It can be flexibly configured – for example, with different hinge options (surface-mounted or roller hinges), side sections, fanlights or panel infills. The System is complemented by tested security features such as bolt protection, anti-punch protection, anti-drill plates, lock case reinforcement and RC 3 glazing.

Easy to work with – high flexibility

heroal door systems offer maximum flexibility in fabrication – whilst ensuring a high level of process reliability and economy. The tried-and-tested joining technology, featuring nail-fixed and compressible corner brackets, connector screws and a cross-system design principle, enables error-resistant, precise manufacturing. Expandable corner brackets also facilitate the precise alignment of mitered profiles.

Sustainability
