Product and Service Innovations for heroal Roller Shutter and Sun Protection Systems

Verl, January 2021. heroal would have been very happy if they had been able to present all innovations from the heroal product and service portfolio of roller shutters and sun protection systems to the trade visitors at R+T 2022 in Stuttgart. Although the trade fair will not be held in 2022, the aluminium system provider has exciting news to report, with which heroal is starting the new year.

Sun protection for shading corners

The innovative novelty heroal VS Z corner solution is based on the tried and tested zip-screen system heroal VS Z. It consists of two textile screens with zip guidance at the sides, and a rope guidance at the corner. What’s new: the two screens have separate end strips which run in just one rope guidance. That means that the screens can be controlled independently of each other and flexibly adjusted to the position of the sun. Textile screens with an individual surface of up to 9 square metres can be created. Combinations with insect screen doors or tensioning frames are possible. The new heroal VS Z corner solution will be available as of spring 2022.

Clamp-on sun protection

The clamp-on zip screen heroal VS Z EM, which received the R+T Innovation Award Gold 2021 at the R+T digital 2021, is one of the product highlights from the range of sun protection systems for the new year. The system heroal VS Z EM stands out for its extremely easy installation with clip holders, which can be done from inside the building without much effort and the need for special tools. It is suited for both new and existing buildings, and represents a smart sun protection solution for rented property or listed buildings, since it can be removed without any leftover marking of the structure. heroal VS Z EM is driven by an integrated solar-powered drive, can be charged via an additional interface and controlled via a wall switch or a radio remote control. heroal VS Z EM is available as system item or customised heroal Ready finished element as of spring 2022.

Sun protection integrating into curtain wall

In order to take advantage of the great system compatibility of heroal systems and create building shells that appear to be cast from the same mould, sun protection systems from heroal can be surface-mounted or fully or partly integrated into the curtain wall system heroal C 50. New as of spring 2022: Going forward, the zip screen system heroal VS Z with its extremely slim 25 mm guide rail can be used for post-transom systems with a 50 mm face width, such as the curtain wall system heroal C 50.

Sun protection for patio roof

For shading covered patio areas, heroal has extended its range of sun protection systems for patio roofs. For effective protection against the sun and heat, wind and insects, the patio roof system heroal OR can be combined with the horizontal blind heroal HS and the vertical blind heroal VS Z OR.

It is now also possible to install the horizontal blind heroal HS on roofs made by other manufacturers. Moreover, coupled elements can now be created, and the maximum surface of one-piece elements has been increased from 15 to 21 square metres. In addition, the range of motors that can be integrated has been extended, in cooperation with the manufacturer Somfy.

The design of the vertical blind heroal VS Z OR has been slightly adjusted, in order to provide for a faster and more efficient installation.

heroal will present all novelties and innovations from the product and service portfolio in 2022, in digital events and in face-to-face events (if these can be organised in compliance with the COVID-19 protective measures in place). Also, heroal plans to take part in the next R+T trade fair in 2024.
