Fabrication
The heroal VS Z CS front-mounted sun protection system is attached to the curtain wall mullions with sun protection bolts and the installation height can be adjusted using the slot nut fastening. The guide rail is available as a single or double guide rail version and enables optimum integration of the sun protection into the building curtain wall – whether installed directly on the wall or self-supporting. Retrofitting is also possible.

Sun protection systems ensure a healthy living and working environment, a comfortable room climate on hot days and help save on cooling and heating costs, as the ingress of heat can be individually regulated as required. Sun protection systems made of recycled aluminium and high-quality textiles are also weather-resistant and set themselves apart with their excellent material stability and exceptional durability.
System compatibility
The cross-system design principle, the use of identical building components, the wide range of motorisation options and the well-engineered design details make fabrication particularly efficient and simple. Virtually identical dimensions lead to low storage costs thanks to the use of identical parts. In addition, continuous panels on coupled elements reduce the number of building components. Depending on requirements and capacity utilisation, heroal VS Z CS can be ordered as a length product, textile assembly or prefabricated element (heroal Ready).
Comfort
heroal VS Z CS front-mounted offers optimum glare, privacy and UV and heat protection – even for large glass surfaces. Thanks to its innovative zip technology, heroal VS Z CS front-mounted is particularly stable in the guide rail and can withstand wind velocities of up to 38 km/h. As the textiles are guided directly in the guide rail, there is no lateral light incidence, unlike with cable or rail guides. The heroal VS Z CS front-mounted control system can be operated at the push of a button via a radio remote control, manually via a button in the wall or via an app. The textile screen can also be integrated into smart home systems.
Design
The aluminium components of the heroal VS Z CS front-mounted are coated with the highly weather-resistant heroal hwr powder coating – for perfect colour matching with the heroal window, door, sliding door, curtain wall and roofing systems. More than 250 different textiles in the standard portfolio provide maximum design freedom. Elements up to 3.5 m in height, 5 m in width and a maximum area of 15 m² can also be implemented with a small box. Even with extreme dimensions, optimum textile tensioning is achieved using various end slats.
