Sustainability
The profiles used in the heroal FireXtech D 93 FP 30 CE system not only meet current requirements under the German Buildings Energy Act (GEG), but also allow for further adjustments and expansion stages in case requirements are increased in the future. Aluminium products are durable thanks to their excellent weather resistance, natural protection against corrosion and high material stability, as well as especially sustainable thanks to their high percentage of recycled aluminium. After their service lives, fire protection materials can be removed so as to allow materials to be separated and returned to the materials cycle or a material-specific recycling process.
Fabrication
The supply within a certified standard manufacturing network, the clamp-on fitting variant, the 5-chamber profile system with separate cooling and functional groove as well as the omission of special fire protection components (for the EI 30 classification) provide for a particularly efficient and direct fabrication without the need for preparations on the profile system. The multifunctional punch enables short fabrication times and a process-reliable manufacture. The fire protection profiles can thus be processed easily and fast even without a machining centre. Special tools are not required.
Fire protection glass
The heroal FireXtech D 93 FP 30 CE fire protection door system can be combined with glass from different manufacturers. The high number of glass types tested for different sizes and requirements ensures excellent flexibility when choosing the glass for a door. In addition to its essential protective function, therefore, the heroal FireXtech D 93 FP 30 CE offers a very wide range of design options. Highly thermally insulated fire protection glass types (UG≥ 0.5W/m²K) can be implemented either as functional variants or as design elements, for instance when the fire protection glass is combined with films in different shapes, colours and sizes.
Design
The highly weather-resistant heroal hwr powder coating ensures particularly high-quality surfaces and a colour-fast building shell while offering the greatest variety of colours and designs. In addition to over 500 RAL, DB and VEKA colours, the fire door system is also available in the exclusive Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® shades. The heroal SD surface finish provides impressive looks such as wood, rust and concrete. Metallic-reflective looks can be created with an anodised coating. Coating in two colours is also possible, as well as colour-coordinated aluminium barrel hinges. The fire protection doors can be seamlessly adapted to other heroal door systems, so that doors with and without fire protection requirements can be created in a consistent, appealing look.
Comfort
The heroal FireXtech D 93 FP 30 CE achieves a max. sound insulation value of 42 dB, as well as resistance class RC 2 for burglary resistance. In order to ensure an an accessible passage in accordance with DIN 18040, the fire protection barrier can be designed without a threshold. Thanks to its outstanding static properties, the fire protection design does not need static reinforcing profiles in many load cases. Their diverse design options and variable construction allow fabricators to create customised solutions.
