The builder, Heinz Schultz and the “Die Wohnkultur” regional architect office aimed to emphasise the special character of the upscale Zillertal boutique hotel, to create an exceptional ambience and to ensure a modern, harmonious overall image in the surroundings was the demand. To meet this goal, the interior design was carefully chosen by the use of natural materials such as natural stone and solid wood, as well as a relaxed and stylish furnishing. Emphasis was also laid on the optimum implementation of the building envelope: “heroal was deliberately chosen as a partner for construction of the hotel with its clear, expressive design - especially because no other company in the industry offers an equivalent service when it comes to coating of window and door systems made of aluminium” says Daniel Maj, Director of Sportresidenz Zillertal. The in-house, highly weather-resistant surface coating by heroal offers excellent colour stability, gloss retention and weather resistance in the long term - which are particularly important in a natural environment.
