    Hardly any other door solution provides for such large passage widths as a lifting-sliding door, while at the same time offering full accessibility. The functional principle makes operation extremely easy, even with large elements: lifting-sliding doors are lifted out of the closed position with a turn of the handle downwards. On smooth-running rollers, the sash can now be moved sideways as desired. With a turn of the handle upwards, the sash is lowered back on the frame. The lifting-sliding door closes very tightly.   • What is the minimum width of a lifting-sliding door?

    An lifting-sliding door consists of at least one fixed element and one sash. When the sash is opened, it moves on running rails to its new position in front of the fixed element. A lifting-sliding door should have a passage width (clear width) of at least 90 cm, in order to provide for a convenient use. This means the complete lifting-sliding door should have a width of at least 1.8 m. Significantly smaller passage widths are not recommended.
