This year’s R+T will focus on the subjects of energy efficiency, security, design and automation. heroal will present solutions that are “SIMPLY BETTER.” and demonstrate innovations in the field of roller shutters, sun protection and exclusive services.
SIMPLY BETTER. INSULATED.
Anyone who engages in energy-efficient building contributes to reducing energy consumption and saving heating costs. Consequently, heroal is now expanding its portfolio with the new insulating box system IB Unique. This not only boasts ideal insulating characteristics – the easy mode of operation of the Super-Z folding assembly technology ensures space-saving storage and ensures there is a matching insulation box for every application with fast and easy processing and assembly. This is because thanks to heroal’s modular system design, heroal IB Unique can be combined in many different ways with the heroal roller shutter, sun protection and insect protection systems and employed in different external envelopes.

There is a burglary in Germany every three minutes. There are even more attempted burglaries. A large proportion of the break-ins are already abandoned after three minutes. This is precisely where resistance classes (RC) come in: from RC 1 - basic security - to RC 4 - protection against attempted burglaries by experienced perpetrators with a battery-powered drill. All of these classes can be met with heroal systems. The aluminium roller shutter systems provide resistance classes up to RC 2, while the double-walled stainless steel slats of the heroal RS 37 RC 3 roller shutter system are even more resilient. The combination of stainless steel roller shutters and the heroal W 72 window system or heroal W 77 even meets all of the requirements of resistance class RC 4.

Apart from the functional properties of a product, the design options in particular take pride of place for customers in buildings. This combination is provided by the heroal sun protection systems, such as the zip screen system heroal VS Z. The light translucent fabric is mounted in front of the window and ensures a reduction of insolation of up to 75 %, a saving in air conditioning costs compared to classic thermal protection glazing and filtering of UV radiation of up to 98 %. But the sun protection can also be optimally tailored to the needs of the customer with a great selection of fabric types and colours.

Anyone who wants to make best use of daylight without being blinded by glare can rely on heroal LC to be the right solution. Instead of darkening the room completely, the innovative magnetic technology and double-walled aluminium slats permit steering light into the room. Every shutter slat can be individually positioned - but segmented darkening is possible too. This permits an individual folding scenario adjusted to the needs of the users. To boost operating comfort, heroal permits programming and using different folding scenarios so that the desired degree of daylight can be used at any time. Moreover, the delivery as assembly provides dealers and technical producers with a time saving in assembly and even better processing convenience.
