Designing and improving living spaces of the future: Under the motto "spaces for life", heroal presented new products, services and digital solutions at BAU 2025. These were geared towards the key topics of the industry and new added value in the areas of sustainability, security, design and efficiency. In addition to the new product solutions, the trade fair stand also showcased a wide range of services and digital tools designed to provide specialist customers with the best possible support, from order acquisition to after-sales service.

From January 13 to 17, 2025, heroal presented innovations for extended application possibilities, climate-friendly construction, security, design diversity and maximum processing efficiency at BAU 2025.

heroal's trade fair appearance marked the end of the anniversary year 2024, in which the company celebrated its 150th anniversary. On the occasion of this milestone, the entire heroal team would like to express its sincere thanks for the many years of cooperation and partnership with a large number of specialist partners worldwide.

heroal focus topics at BAU 2025

With innovations in the areas of windows, doors, façades, fire protection, roller shutters and sun protection, heroal presented new solutions and added value at BAU 2025 on the key topics of climate-friendly construction, security, comfort and design with maximum efficiency and process reliability in processing. At stand 310 in hall B1, the supplier of aluminum system solutions for the building envelope, interior and exterior also presented a comprehensive 360° service offering and showcased new digital options for planning, processing, installation and aftersales.

Innovative new developments

Extended application coverage and coordinated overall solutions

With innovations for residential and commercial construction, heroal is expanding its portfolio of system solutions for fabricators, architects and planners and offers new, optimally coordinated overall solutions in various product areas. One of the highlights heroal presented at BAU was the new external textile sun shading system heroal VS Z CS for seamless partial integration into mullion-transom façades in conjunction with intelligent building control for optimum glare and heat protection. In the area of window and door systems, heroal presented several developments that extend the application coverage of the system platforms and further optimize them in terms of processing efficiency, burglary protection, design and accessibility. New solutions for interiors and exteriors also open up innovations in the area of fire protection and panic doors , roller shutter rod systems and the expansion of the product portfolio in the area of sun protection and folding sliding systems.

Unique architectural and design possibilities

Another focus of heroal's trade fair appearance was the architectural and design possibilities opened up by the heroal system portfolio. heroal presented flush-mounted window systems and floating windows as well as various insert and integration elements for façades for a particularly aesthetic, harmonious design. With its industry-leading surface and design selection of more than 500 RAL and DB colors, the coating technology heroal Surface Design (SD) with surface designs such as wood, concrete or rust look as well as the exclusive Les Couleurs^® Le Corbusier colors, the company offers fabricators, architects and planners a wide range of design options. Consistently designed to meet the highest demands on surface quality, heroal presented all products at BAU with a coating in the Les Couleurs^® Le Corbusier color tones.

Efficiency & economy

Numerous advantages for particularly fast and efficient processing

The advantages heroal systems offer for particularly fast and efficient processing were presented by heroal at the trade fair stand in a special workshop area. In keeping with the main theme of BAU "Economical building", interested visitors were able to see live demonstrations of the aluminum system house's particularly efficient solutions.

These include the latest portfolio expansion of the heroal D 72 PF EM system with two new variants for door panels - one 60 mm thick and one that covers the sash on both sides - and the heroal sun shading solutions, which are available as system products, as kits with a high degree of prefabrication and as heroal Ready prefabricated elements.

Services & digital solutions

360° service offering and digital solutions for greater efficiency and process reliability

At the trade fair, heroal presented its comprehensive 360° service offering as well as new digital options for order acquisition, processing, installation and aftersales as well as project management, which support the efficient and reliable implementation of projects. heroal has once again expanded this range of digital solutions. Optimized functions in the document center of the heroal Communicator specialist customer portal make it easier to find information right from the planning phase. The heroal Business Configurator, whose interface to the Logikal planning tool enables even more convenient and reliable planning, calculation and ordering across product portfolios, has also been further developed. The functions for faster identification of heroal system components in incoming goods, storage or production as well as for seamless component-related documentation and traceability also offer new added value.

Sustainability

Emission-reduced aluminum for sustainable construction projects

With durable, recyclable and highly thermally insulated system solutions made from recycled materials, heroal contributes to the sustainability of current and future buildings and supports architects and fabricators in meeting the highest sustainability standards. In order to effectively meet the challenges of climate change and also to meet construction projects with the highest sustainability requirements as well as projects within the framework of green building standards such as LEED, DGNB or WELL, heroal will also offer all system solutions based on CO₂-reduced aluminum and aluminum with an increased recycled content (heroal Low Carbon Aluminum) from 2025. The new range was used as part of the trade fair presentation and all exhibits were made from CO₂-reduced and recycled materials.
